The CONREGO application provides event attendees with a convenient option to unsubscribe from the marketing list, giving them complete control over their preferences for receiving marketing materials. This feature is available directly in messages sent through the COMMUNICATION module, allowing easy management of consents and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key aspects of the unsubscribe feature

  1. Footer with an unsubscribe link
Each marketing message includes a footer with a button that allows recipients to unsubscribe from the mailing list. Importantly, this footer does not appear in transactional emails, such as registration confirmations or confirmations of transactions (with invoices attached), ensuring that attendees always receive essential event information.

  2. Unsubscribe confirmation and re-subscribe option
After clicking the unsubscribe link, the attendee is redirected to a page confirming the action. There is also an option to re-subscribe quickly if the decision to unsubscribe was accidental.

  3. Subscription confirmation on the marketing list
If an attendee decides to re-subscribe to the marketing list, they are directed to a page confirming their consent.

  4. Consent visibility on the attendee card
Consent information, or its withdrawal, is visible on the attendee’s card under the heading “CONSENT TO RECEIVE MAILINGS,” making it easier for organizers to review and manage attendee preferences.

  5. Attendee filter by consent
Organizers can filter attendees based on their consent status for marketing communication in the ATTENDEES section, simplifying mailing campaign management.

  6. New consent field in the registration form
The registration form allows the addition of a special field where attendees can explicitly provide consent to receive mailings. We encourage the use of this field to ensure full compliance with regulations and better accountability.

  7. Automatic exclusion of attendees without consent
The COMMUNICATION module automatically skips individuals who have withdrawn their consent to receive marketing, ensuring that the mailing complies fully with attendee preferences.

Benefits of complying with Google and Yahoo requirements

The unsubscribe feature not only facilitates compliant marketing communication for organizers but also minimizes the risk of negative consequences:

  • Message deliverability: By adhering to Google and Yahoo mailing requirements, marketing messages are delivered to the primary inboxes of attendees.

  • Sender reputation: Observing consent rules for marketing communication prevents a decrease in domain reputation, which can impact the effectiveness of communication with recipients using various email services.

  • Protection from blocks: Marketing messages remain safe from being flagged as spam or blocked by popular email services, enabling effective communication.

The unsubscribe feature in the CONREGO application ensures effective, compliant, and convenient marketing communication, giving attendees complete control over their preferences.
